An amber bottle, small enough for a suitcase, carries the oils of Luštica in its glass. Olive oil comes from ancient olives, while lavender, rosemary and bay leaf are gathered as wild herbs for essential oils. At Klinci Village Resort, this work passes through the old olive mill, now a konoba, where traditional craft gives the landscape a form that can travel home.
The ten accommodation units are adapted from the old stone houses of Klinci, 180 metres above the Adriatic, five suites and five studios named after local plants and products, Lavender, Rosemary, Laurel and Olive Branch among them. The konoba cooks from the farm and the garden, and guided distillation, a traditional cooking workshop and gastronomic experiences keep the table close to the land.
