Lazure began as a lazaretto, the quarantine complex of Boka Bay, built between 1729 and 1732 on the shore at Meljine. The stone buildings were restored and opened as a hotel in September 2018, the Historical Building holding 24 rooms while a contemporary wing adds 104 more, twenty kilometres from Tivat airport and thirty from Dubrovnik.
The hotel runs its own marina, 156 berths for boats up to thirty metres, with the beach and pool close by and six places to eat and drink, from contemporary Mediterranean cooking at Rosemarine to coffee and bread at the Baguetteria. In 2025 the beach itself won a BIG SEE Architecture Award, a fitting note for a property whose oldest walls date to the eighteenth century.
The hotel hosts weddings and celebrations for up to 210 guests within walls built between 1729 and 1732. Four meeting rooms provide 320 square metres for up to 180 people, while the beach, pool and terraces extend the evening from ceremony to the final glass.
Guests arriving by sea berth in the hotel's marina, with 156 berths for boats up to thirty metres and VHF channel 87. A co-working room and two Porsche Destination Charging points support working stays, while Tivat airport is twenty kilometres away.
