Stara Čaršija takes its name from Stari Bar's old bazaar, where local craftsmen built the hotel in stone and wood, with views towards the Old Fortress and the Rumija mountains. Behind its rustic walls, contemporary rooms range from a 13 square metre single to the 105 square metre Stara Čaršija penthouse for six, with heated bathroom floors and Bvlgari toiletries.
The restaurant extends across three levels, each with its own character, serving Mediterranean and Oriental dishes, steakhouse fare and wood-fired pizza, with extra virgin olive oil pressed around Bar. Since 2020, the house has operated its own Wellness & Spa, with a hammam, Finnish sauna, steam room and Phytomer treatments; a congress centre for seventy participants completes the house.
A congress centre for seventy, a restaurant across three levels and a spa open until nine. The walls of the Old Fortress rise above.
Nine room categories range from deluxe doubles with private terraces to a 37 square metre apartment for four and a penthouse with a jacuzzi for six. Dinner spans three restaurant levels, while the hammam is open until nine.
